James and Jose enjoying a beautiful December day.
Louden's Sprinkler Service has been serving the irrigation and drainage needs of Northwest Houston and beyond since 1986.  James started the company after earning a Petroleum Engineering degree from the University of Texas in 1985, a bad time for the oil industry.  So, after watering his parents yard for a few hot summer weeks, James decided to install an automatic sprinkler system for them.  The neighbors were so impressed that they wanted him to do one for them as well.  More neighbors and friends wanted his systems.  Twenty two plus years later, Louden's Sprinkler, Lighting, & Mosquito Misting has grown steadily and continues to grow almost exclusively through word of mouth referrals!
Today, Louden's installs about 250 residential systems and a few commercial systems every year.  The company is large enough to professionally install your residential system usually in a day or less.  But we also small enough to take pride in doing your system right.
James Louden personally designs, bids, lays-out, oversees, and explains the system to the customer on every job.
Your grass and landscape are put back so neatly that you might not be able to tell it was installed.  The whole process of having us come out for an estimate, having a quality sprinkler system installed, and having a beautiful lawn that is watered correctly for many years to come is
painless on both you and your yard.

Questions and Answers:
Can I get a cheaper priced sprinkler system?"
Yes, but we believe that Louden's will give you the best value.  A sprinkler system is a one time thing.  If it is installed poorly, it can be more costly in the long run (repairs and coverage problems).  A cheap system can be spotted by high risers (often crooked and in front of windows) or heads too far apart.  This is a short cut because it uses less heads and cheaper parts.  Our systems can be seen in the quality performance of the grass and landscape.
"What is a Licensed Irrigator?"
The State of Texas requires irrigation contractors to be licensed.  They must past an 8 hour test, take continuing education courses, and annually renew license.  Generally, the lower the license number the better (and more experienced).  Watch out for licenses above 9000, usually they have been in business less than 3 years.
